Towards Effective EnforcementThe Lord Chancellor announced in March 2001 that the remit of the Enforcement Review was to be widened to include structures for creating a new class of enforcement agent altogether. New sorts of bailiffs - in other words. He has now produced a Green Paper which considers proposals for, the structure and regulation of enforcement agents, and principles for revising their fees. The proposals include a complete shake up of the various pieces of law under which we operate and will be of interest to Landlord and Tenant alike.
